HAPPY ASSESSMENT

We designed the assessment process to be engaging, with delights and animations integrated to showcase progress and motivate users to complete it.

After completing the Happy Assessment, users receive a Workstyle Snapshot — an expertly designed visual overview of the most important aspects of their personal workstyle, providing a quick and valuable understanding of how they operate best in the workplace.

UNDERSTANDING INDIVIDUAL WORKSTYLES

Based on the Happy Assessment, users unlock their unique Workstyle, which tells about their individual strengths, work preferences, interaction styles, and more.

The Workstyle page is designed with engaging elements like emojis, animated gradients, and other fun visuals to make this information more accessible and enjoyable than traditional, text-heavy documents.

1:1 INSIGHTS

After multiple user testing sessions, we’ve learned that people want to compare individual workstyles and behaviors side-by-side.

We designed Happy Insights to give an immediate understanding of how two people can interact more effectively, minimize misunderstandings, and identify points of alignment to foster better collaboration.

PERSONALIZED AI-ENHANCED COACHING

To create a more engaging coaching experience, we developed a unique character for the Coach with emotions. This personifies the AI-driven coaching tool, adding a human touch to the support it provides.

Happy's AI-enhanced Coach was designed as a conversational interface. Users can ask the Coach questions about their colleagues' workstyles or describe a particular situation and instantly get relevant topics tailored to their inquiry, such as how to improve working relationships, handle conflicts, or give effective feedback.

INTEGRATING HAPPY INTO USER WORKFLOWS

After testing Happy internally at The Gradient, we've learned the importance of integrating Happy coaching into users' daily workflows and work tools, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams.

That's why Happy is designed to be easily accessible whenever you need guidance, whether it's before a meeting with a manager or colleague, or even during the meeting itself.
