lilo is a personal health assistance app at the edge of insurance and healthcare. lilo’s mission is to make professional health advice accessible and convenient for everyone. By focusing on prevention and providing convenient access to professional advice, lilo ensures that your health is always a priority.
lilo partnered with The Gradient team to convey a new vision to the Ukrainian insurance market, where insurance is not mandatory and its value is underrated.
The client came to us with their innovative vision for the product to build the MVP of the product for the Ukrainian market. We faced with a challenging task to remove barriers and simplify all processes that are typical to most insurance products and services and get the user interested in the environment. Achieving this required a thorough reevaluation of traditional insurance practices and a commitment to user-centric innovation.
It starts with personalisation
The experience with the lilo app begins with a brief, personalized quiz designed to understand how a user feels, their health history, and their goals for staying healthy. With every answer provided, lilo adapts the next steps in the journey, making the flow responsive and highlighting the benefits that are most relevant to user’s health condition. This approach motivates to complete each step, making the process not only beneficial but also interesting and rewarding.
It’s more than just completing onboarding quiz – it’s about actively participating in a health journey that feels personal and valuable.
Your personal health journey, simplified
After the quiz, lilo app creates a personalized health plan tailored to the user’s specific needs, goals, and preferences, and can be easily customized with add-ons to fit personal preferences. As no one likes reading through confusing and lengthy insurance contracts, it was important to create a better experience.
We designed the lilo health plan so that it immediately shows the user what is included in their health plan, with the ability to dive into details if necessary.
Additionally, it was essential to empower users to ask their health-related questions and receive immediate answers. To achieve this, we integrated AI into the lilo app, training it to respond to various inquiries and topics, including symptoms, treatments, medications, and general wellness advice.
Tailored doctor match
Having a personal doctor who is a trusted partner in a health journey is important for everyone. lilo connects users with healthcare professionals who are best suited based on their unique situation, concern, or location. We designer doctor selection experience to give users a sense of doctors' personality and their approach to care, helping them feel more confident in their choice.
Your health to-do list, made easy
In addition to providing general accident coverage, lilo takes a proactive approach to managing user’s health. That's why, unlike other insurance apps focusing on insurance policies, lilo's interface is built around human health.
The app's main page has three main features, placing everything users need for their well-being right at their fingertips. lilo suggests when to schedule preventive appointments, reminds of upcoming visits, and guides on when and what medications to take. This helps users adhere to their treatment plan and stay informed and on track with their health journey.
Get help in one tap
With the lilo app, users can access a team of professional doctors available 24/7 through an easy-to-use chat feature.
We've designed a central button that provides quick access to the most important actions, whether it's a quick chat about health-related questions, scheduling a doctor's appointment, or calling for emergency assistance.
Medication order
Managing medications should be easy and convenient. We've designed a simple flow where users can order prescribed medicaines with just a few taps. They can choose the most convenient pharmacy for order pick-up the prescription or order direct address delivery at a convenient time.
We also designed a way to store up-to-date electronic prescriptions in the app, so there is no need to carry around paper ones or look for them in other systems.
