Today we are happy to announce a new partnership with Holberg EEG, a Norwegian-based eHealth company currently focused on the field of Electroencephalography (EEG). Holberg EEG develops IT tools for the standardization, systematization, and reporting of diagnostic data in the field of electroencephalography (EEG).
Through our partnership with Holberg EEG, we will be working on the new UX/UI design for the SCORE EEG software.
Building eHealth solutions
Electroencephalography (EEG) is one of the most important clinical tools for the functional assessment of the central nervous system. EEG measures electrical brain activity and is used to monitor, diagnose, and follow up on patients with epilepsy, coma, critically ill patients, as well as patients with altered mental status and cognitive changes.
Traditionally EEG reports are entered manually into the patient’s electronic medical data, often in a free text format. Free text reporting in medical reports is challenging, and the information in the reports is also inaccessible for statistical analysis and research since this is hidden in the free text. Misinterpretation of EEG can affect a huge number of patients worldwide. Thus, there is a need for computerized tools to improve the quality of EEG assessment and reporting in clinical practice and to improve education in EEG.
Holberg EEG has developed the SCORE EEG software that replaces free text EEG reporting and introduces systematic computer-based classification.
Cooperation with The Gradient
Holberg EEG came to The Gradient with the need for a new UX/UI design for the SCORE software. During our cooperation, we would rebuild the existing UI/UX to achieve system reliability, optimize user workflows and reduce the complexity of the administration-related functionality of the product.
