Lumiere, an innovative video intelligence platform, won the UX Design Award 2025 in the professional Product and Concept category.

The UX Design Awards are a prestigious global competition that recognizes excellence in user experience design across various industries. Organized by the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ), these awards highlight the significant impact of experience design on shaping our lives, products, and services.

The professional Product and Concept categories feature 93 nominees, including industry leaders like Google, Amazon Web Services, and Siemens, alongside innovative design studios such as Star and Work & Co.

This award is a testament to our vision of reinventing the way companies collect, analyze, and visualize user feedback. The UX Design Awards jury highlighted Lumiere’s ability to seamlessly integrate GenAI for conversational insights and summaries, improving decision-making and setting a new standard for video-based research tools:

"Lumiere fills an industry gap by providing a flexible, intelligent platform for video-based user research that enables companies to efficiently collect, analyze and visualize feedback. Seamless integration of GenAI for conversational insights and summaries improves decision making. Clear KPIs, such as reduced setup time and improved feedback quality, demonstrate its impact. The state-of-the-art, aesthetically pleasing interface and comprehensive design system ensure a delightful user experience. Lumiere sets a new standard for video-based research tools in terms of functionality and joy of use."

About Lumiere

Designed as a collaboration between The Gradient and Latitude, one of the leading insights providers for digital content companies, Lumiere offers a comprehensive solution for gathering and analyzing video-based audience insights. Its core idea is to collect real-time audience feedback and leverage AI-driven analysis to uncover meaningful insights. This enables creators and brands to gain a deeper understanding of audience reactions, moving beyond standard metrics like views and watch time to reveal the "why" behind audience engagement.

One of Lumiere’s standout features is its AI-powered conversation capabilities, which turn leaving feedback on a video into a more interactive and insightful process. Its AI chatbot encourages the viewer to elaborate on their thoughts and provide a deeper understanding of their reactions and uncover insights that might not be immediately obvious, enhancing the quality and value of the feedback. In that way Lumiere transforms video creation from guesswork into a strategic, insights-driven process, enabling companies to produce videos that not only engage but also deliver measurable results.

This award nomination is a significant endorsement of our work, and we’re happy to be part of the global movement that drives better user experience for everyone.
